We have completed a comprehensive business case financial model and stakeholder package in support of a client's entry into Wireless Pay TV. The economic analysis included market demand and revenue projections, operating cost estimates, and capital investment requirements. The stakeholder package included a study of market sizing, competitive analysis, mobile price forecasts, and other information input to the financial model in order to evaluate the business opportunity. Pay TV pricing was determined by reconstructing a detailed business profile for each market, estimating bouquet usage by customer type and forecasting usage elasticity as prices drop.
We have carried out a major project, for a Supply Chain Company, designed to assess value that different competitors could create using a variety of entry mechanisms in the most lucrative areas of this Client's region. The data collected and analyses undertaken were used to create four detailed business cases (one for each type of competition). The analysis also helped to highlight the critical nature of this Client's pricing strategy in determining the value that different competitors could create.
We have conducted a detailed business case for a Local Authority to connect with all its trading partners in order to trade on-line, which let to savings in time, cost and increased the efficiency and productivity of the Authority. Our modeling needed to explicitly consider the differences in infrastructure cost, operating expenses and the revenue potential by being on-line.
We have carried out a number of feasibility studies, which have resulted in the launch of a number of new companies such as a Banking Network for Banks operating in the COMESA (Common Market for East and Southern Africa) region, an Islamic Insurance Company, an e-commerce company.
We have developed by working with our Client's Top Management Team, a detailed Business Roadmap for the Client's company, based on demographics and mapping, activity based costing (ABC) estimates, roll-out and build-out scenarios, costing, sizing together with a full set of operating financial statements. Using this Roadmap we have assisted the Management Team in reaching decisions concerning the direction and valuation of the business. The Client is currently using the business Roadmap on a daily basis to evaluate strategic and operational issues.
We have assisted a Company to prepare a bid for the setting up of a communciations infrastructure in a newly developed IT Park. This involved selecting the systems integrators and suppliers, writing the bid and making presentations to and negotiating with the management of the IT Park on the proposed solution.
